Brian Bell Agriculture facilitated the sale of two L5740 Kubota tractors to Air Niugini. These powerful tractors are well-known for their durability and efficiency, making them ideal for the task of pulling cargo at the airport. Equipped with advanced features, these tractors ensure smooth and swift movement of goods, contributing to the overall efficiency of Air Niugini’s cargo handling operations. 

Additionally, Brian Bell Agriculture provided Air Niugini with two high-quality light towers. These light towers are indispensable for maintaining proper illumination, especially during night-time operations. Ensuring a well-lit working environment is crucial for safety and efficiency, and these towers are designed to deliver powerful, consistent illumination across the airport’s cargo handling areas. 

Moreover, the transaction included a 600-litre fuel tank complete with a nozzle and flow meter. This fuel tank is essential for ensuring that the tractors and other machinery operate seamlessly without interruptions. The inclusion of a high-quality nozzle and flow meter enhances precision during refueling, minimizing wastage, and ensuring optimal use of resources.

Peter comes to our business with a wealth of Business and Leadership skills, which includes the following highlights.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Geology – University of Papua New Guinea, which has taken Peter to all the major mines in PNG such as Ok Tedi, Lihir & Porgera.  Peter then headed offshore to Australia where he spent 6 years in Western Australia, in diamond, manganese and iron ore mines, in capacities as geologist and senior geologist. 

But as often the way, Peter was drawn to return home to PNG.  Over the past 6 years Peter has worked as Business Manager for Hilans Fres managing Tininga’s fresh produce business.  During this time Peter has helped their business to improve skills in business excellence/process improvement, forecasting, staff management, sales and marketing, freight and supply chain management, technical field support and farmer liaison.

Peter is now excited to take these wide skill sets into our Lae Agriculture business, as we see an exciting time for our Agri business over the next few years and we want to be at the leading edge.

Outside of work Peter has a hobby in farming, working on his land growing produce which includes managing his coffee plot.  Peter also enjoys a good fiction book and a game of rugby league.
